Operating Conditions:
The customer's medium is high-temperature vegetable oil, used in the debromination process, with a maximum temperature of 220℃ and operating under a slight vacuum. The switching frequency is relatively high.
Customer Requirements:
Because the medium is edible oil, the use of any graphite sealing elements is prohibited at the customer's site. The original plan was to use a metal-sealed triple-offset butterfly valve, but the triple-offset butterfly valve uses graphite packing and cannot be guaranteed for use under slight vacuum conditions. In addition, the service life of the triple-offset butterfly valve is limited, with only about 50,000 cycles. Therefore, a double-offset butterfly valve with all-metal sealing is considered, with a service life of up to 1 million cycles. The packing uses PPL material, with a temperature resistance of up to 250℃. Double-compound installation ensures both forward sealing and meets vacuum conditions.
