1. Introduction to On-site Application Conditions

The valve type used in the process pipeline of the valve device in the rolling mill high-line cooling water system is a straight-stroke bottom-in three-way flow regulating valve. The medium is circulating cooling water, and the water quality contains iron filings and other impurities.

2. Problems and Challenges Faced

The valve type used in the process pipeline of the valve device in the rolling mill high-line cooling water system is a straight-stroke bottom-in three-way flow regulating valve:

1/ Quick opening performance: Single opening time is about 3 seconds;

2/ High-frequency performance: Switch once per minute;

3. EICMATION's Recommended Solution

In response to the above problems, our company has improved on the basis of conventional three-way valves. The diaphragm-type cylinder is changed to a high-frequency, high-thrust piston-type cylinder, the valve stem uses precipitation-hardened stainless steel, and the valve stem packing gland uses a high-frequency wear-resistant structure, which effectively meets the requirements of quick opening performance and high-frequency performance.
