Solution for the centerline butterfly valve in the Fuling Pickles project

Detailed description

I. Project Overview:
This project is the first phase of the Fuling Pickles Group's new process transformation project, currently focusing on the first workshop.
II. Project Technical Key Points:
The client's site is in the food-grade industry, with a medium of saline water with a high concentration of chloride ions. Furthermore, there are impurities such as mud and sand, and pickles in the brine, therefore, there are some special requirements for the valves, such as hygienic requirements and wear resistance. In addition, due to severe environmental salt spray corrosion, there are also requirements for the actuator, such as salt spray resistance, moisture resistance, and rust prevention.
III. Center Line Butterfly Valve Solution:
1. In terms of product structure, we adopted a through-shaft pinless structure, avoiding the problems of pin structures, such as pin corrosion, the use of sealant when fixing pins, and loosening during long-term use. It also avoids the risk of leakage at the lower shaft position in the half-shaft structure without pins.

2. Product detail improvements: Because the client is in the food industry, several requirements were made for details during product selection: First, all our butterfly valve discs are mirror-polished to ensure that there is no medium residue on the surface during actual use; second, the valve seat uses food-grade EPDM rubber; third, the spraying uses drinking water-grade coating.
