The Upper Dadai Hydropower Station is located in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia, about 20 kilometers upstream of the Dadai Hydropower Station. The Cambodia Upper Dadai Pumped Storage Power Station is a key China-Cambodia cooperative project, adopting the BOT model (Build-Operate-Transfer), led by China Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. with an installed capacity of 1000 MW (4 reversible units of 250 MW each). Upon completion, it will greatly enhance Cambodia's power grid peak regulation capability and renewable energy absorption capacity. This project is an important part of Cambodia's energy internet, aiming to support the stable integration of clean energy such as solar power. The feasibility study started in November 2023, and the core agreement was signed in February 2025. Construction includes the upper reservoir (normal water level 665 meters), lower reservoir (normal water level 371 meters), and underground cavern groups, requiring overcoming technical challenges related to Jurassic clastic rock formations.

The valves delivered for the Upper Dadai Hydropower Station cover the technical water supply system, unit maintenance and plant drainage system, turbine oil system, insulating oil system, compressed air system, fire protection system, and others. Especially, the hard-sealed eccentric ball valves (PN25-DN100~300) in the technical water supply system achieved zero leakage, and the all-metal hard-sealed triple eccentric butterfly valves (PN25-DN300) achieved bidirectional sealing with zero leakage under full pressure difference. These valves are crucial guarantees for the safe and stable operation of the power station.
